NRA Instructor CCW

Pre-requisite: Must be a current Certified Pistol Instructor (or Advanced Certified Pistol Instructor) as a pre-requisite for certification as an NRA CCW instructor. This certification is not available to Apprentice or Assistant Pistol Instructors, and the Law Enforcement Division Handgun Instructor is not a substitute.

This official NRA CCW Instructor Program combines NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) with the NRA CCW Instructor course, both taught by an NRA Training Counselor. I have more than 20 years of firearms experience in government and non-government settings. CCW instructor candidates must first complete the official NRA CCW Student course, hold NRA Pistol Instructor certification, and have completed BIT within the past 24 months. Scheduling options are available upon request for candidates who still need to fulfill these prerequisites. All participants must meet the course requirements and learning objectives.
