This NRA Basics of Pistol shooting course allows participants to apply for a CT, FL, AZ and many other out of state permits. This course also represents the first part of the NYS 18HR trining course required for obtaining a NYS Pistol Permit. Additional sessions required!! The full NYS Course will take place ALL DAYS, December 15, 17, & 19, 2026. Full course is valid for NYC Permit also. The total cost is $380 and includes materials, instruction, range fees and use of firearms and ammunition. You will shoot approx. 50 rounds of fire, NOT JUST THE NYS REQUIRED 5 rounds!!
