NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course - Instructor Led Only

NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course The Basic Pistol Shooting Course is an 8-hour class where students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely use a rifle. You do not have to have prior experience as this class is open to students at any level! Topics covered include the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; handgun actions, parts, and operation; ammunition components; ammunition malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; aiming, range rules; cleaning; care of the firearm, safe storage and transportation and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet and successfully complete the student examination and shooting component.
