After completion of on-line registration, students will be contacted with instructions for submitting the course fee – which must be paid in advance to reserve a seat in the class. Students must also attend a pre-course evaluation on Saturday July 11th (unless other arrangements are made with the instructor). The course is divided into two levels. The mandatory Basic, or Level I, is a 9-hour portion in which we fire approximately 100 rounds (Sat / Sun July 25-26). The optional Advanced, or Level II, is a 5-hour portion in which we fire approximately 250 rounds of ammunition (Sat Aug 8). Students are encouraged but not required to complete the advanced portion.
