The NRA Basic Rifle course teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and operating a rifle safely. This class is for anyone wanting to get some familiarity and experience with a rifle; no prior knowledge about rifles is needed. The course consists of classroom and live-fire, and a section on the familiarity and disassembly/reassembly of the AR-type rifle. Hands-on activities and exercises are a large part of the course, and live-fire will be conducted at a covered private outdoor range. Attendees are required to bring eye and ear protection, a baseball hat, and snacks/drinks/lunch if desired. Everything else will be provided. This class is at 502 Charles Bancroft Highway in Litchfield, NH.
