This course is what you must take before you can attend the NRA Pistol Instructor course. It is also a perfect course for shooters of all experience levels. It is perfect for the new shooter and serves as a great refresher and enhancement of knowledge and skills for those who have been shooting for a while. The training and certificate you get from taking this course also meets the requirements needed to apply for the Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit. It includes classroom instruction, practical application, evaluation of your pistol safe handling skills, and a range qualification shoot.
