The NRA Shotgun Instructor Course has 3 parts. Part 1 is BIT (Basic Instructor Training) on Saturday Sept.19,2026 at the BSA Council Office at 8:00am to 4:00pm. Part 2 is NRA Shotgun Basic Course on Friday Sept 25, 2026 at 6:00pm ending at noon on Sept. 26 at Camp Meriwether. Part 3 NRA Shotgun Instructor starts after Part 2 and ends at 4:00pm on Sept 27. You must attend all 3 parts and pass the exams and shooting qualifications to be certified. Food, housing, and course materials are included in the fee. The NRA Certification fee is not included.
