This course is conducted in a classroom setting with a live fire exercise. Range Safety Officer (RSO) candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO, Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), range inspection, range rules, range briefings, emergency procedures, and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Students must pass a written exam. Course materials are included. Students will need to bring a 22lr rifle, 100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection and lunch. The live fire portion of the course will give students practical experience on running a range. Additional information or questions please call 804-314-6261
