This 10-hour course will cover the discipline specific instructor training in order to teach the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course. Instructor candidates must demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, pass the instructor certification examination with a 90%, and shoot from the prone, benchrest, and standing. Prior to being allowed to sit for the instructor training class, instructor candidates must have completed a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises, have completed NRA Basic Rifle class and passed it with a 90%, and have completed Basic Instructor Training within the last 2 years. Those who need BIT must complete it beforehand. The cost of BIT is $100. Class will begin at 9:00AM at: Top Shot Maryland, LLC 48 Thornhill Road Lutherville Timonium, MD 21093.
