NRA Instructor Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Course

Pre-requisite: Must be a current NRA Personal Protection In the Home instructor as a pre-requisite for certification as an NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home instructor. This certification is not available to Apprentice or Assistant Pistol Instructors, and the Law Enforcement Division Handgun Instructor is not a substitute.

To be eligible for this course you must be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor with Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last two years (BIT is not included with this course). Instructor candidates must also be a Personal Protection In The Home Instructor. Candidates must have attended an NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home course. In accordance with NRA policy, this course must have four (4) eligible candidates to hold a class. OKCGC members receive a $25 discount. The users of Medical Marijuana are not eligible to attend NRA courses.
