This course offers a great deal of information for someone interested in learning about handguns. This introduction provides an overview of handgun ownership considerations including storage, safety, and required maintenance. While this is a course with hands-on experience, there is NO LIVE FIRE in this classroom only session. The student is not required to have a firearm to take this course. The student may choose to add a California required Firearms Safety Card test to prepare for an upcoming gun purchase for an additional fee. Just include a note when you register and we will be sure to provide that instruction and test in your session.
