The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) course is an 9-hour, in-person program designed to train experienced shooters in organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities. It covers roles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspections, briefings, and handling stoppages, requiring a 90% score on a written exam.
