In the NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting Instructor course, you will learn how to teach the fundamentals of shotgun shooting using the National Rifle Association lesson plans and training methods. This is a 16-hour course. Prerequisites: Instructor candidates MUST have successfully completed the NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting Course and the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) prior to the course date. If you have not completed Basic Instructor Training after August 21, 2024, you will be required to attend a refresher. The BIT is not being offered in conjunction with this instructor course, however it is being conducted on June 26, 2026 at these same facilities.Contact the lead TC for details. Submission of course completion certificates are required to substantiate eligibility to attend.
