This course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a shotgun safely. Through this course, students will learn about shotgun parts and operation, ammunition, shotgun shooting fundamentals and activities. The course includes classroom presentations, a written examination, practical firearms handling exercises, and live fire exercises on an outdoor shooting range. Registration confirmation and tuition payment information will be provided by the Chief Instructor via separate correspondence.
