NRA Basic CCW

This is a 2-day course and fulfills the training requirements for Maryland Wear and Carry which allows you to apply for the MD HGP. This is an instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. Topics include: firearm safety, pistol nomenclature and selecting a pistol for self-defense, ammunition knowledge and defensive ammunition, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment, loading and stoppage remediation, and mindset. Current MD laws will be reviewed as well. Students will receive the two handbooks. You will need your firearm, holster, concealment garment, mag pouch, 100 rounds of ammo and eye & ear protection. If you do not have all these items, please discuss with Jeff (email or call) prior to the start of class. They can be provided. Pricing does not include ammo or $50 range fee.
