The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course equips students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude to safely and accurately fire common handgun types. This course covers in depth everything the new shooter needs to know about handgun operation. Students will complete an online training and test prior to in person learning. Topics include: Safety Storage Firearm types Ammunition Marksmanship fundamentals Cleaning and Maintenance If you do know have a firearm, rental firearms are available. Ammunition is also available to purchase. Each student will need the following items: Firearms (unless renting) 100 rounds of ammunition (must purchase range ammo with firearm rental) Note taking material An Open Mind!!! The course includes: Targets/Range/Range fees Eye and Ear protection NRA Basic Pistol Manual NRA Marksmanship Manual and Safety Rules Card Drinks and Snacks
