The NRA Basic Pistol Course is a comprehensive program designed to teach responsible and safe handgun ownership and use, covering essential topics like gun safety rules, ammunition basics, and shooting fundamentals. It is available in a two-part blended format (online and in-person) or an instructor-led only format, which includes a hands-on range portion with live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification.
