NRA Instructor Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course

Pre-requisite: Must be a current Certified Pistol Instructor (or Advanced Certified Pistol Instructor) as a pre-requisite for certification as an NRA Personal Protection In the Home instructor. This certification is not available to Apprentice or Assistant Pistol Instructors, and the Law Enforcement Division Handgun Instructor is not a substitute.

This is a DUAL Discipline Instructor Course for BOTH Personal Protection In the Home (PPITH) and Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOTH). You MUST be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and have completed BOTH the Basics of PPITH and PPOTH courses as a student. If you have not completed Basic Instructor Training after June 26, 2024, you will be required to attend for a refresher. Submission of course completion certificates are required to substantiate eligibility to attend. Separate registration will be completed for the PPOTH Instructor portion.
