NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting Course

Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components/malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules card, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take an exam, and receive a course completion certificate. Students are encouraged to bring their own trap, skeet, or sporting clay shotgun and shells (7-1/2 or 8 shot) or use instructor provided shotguns and shells. $50 discount for B-CC IWLA members (provide your B-CC IWLA member number in the "Notes/Special Request" registration section).
