NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course

Do you have an NRA Basic Pistol or CCW cert or Florida CWP, and are focused on next-level Home Protection? This may be the next course for you… NRA Personal Protection In the Home focuses on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, and how to choose a handgun for self-defense. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Training Counselor. Prerequisites: Certificates stated above, USPSA/IDPA/SCSA C rating or better, or a DD214.IMPORTANT: Students must not be ineligible to possess a firearm.
