The NRA Pistol Instructor Course is a two-day 16-hour course that includes Basic Instructor Training (BIT- 6Hr) and Basic Pistol Course Instructor Training (10Hr). This is the certification to teach NRA BoPS courses. NOTE: The NRA requires that all new Certified Pistol Instructors must complete the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course (Instructor Led ILT is required) as well as the pre-course questionnaire and pre-course qualification (inc. Shooting a Level 4 Target) PRIOR to attending. In compliance with ITAR, only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Resident Aliens are permitted to take this training.
