NRA Basic CCW

This course meets and exceeds the training requirements to obtain a Florida CCW permit, but this is not the 4-hour “in and out” course. This next-level course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely and responsibly carry a concealed pistol for personal protection. Having a license to conceal and carry a firearm is a major responsibility. This 10-hour (appx) course includes classroom and range time learning. You will be exposed to easy-to-learn shooting skills, responsible and safe gun ownership, handling, and storage methods. Additionally, you will become confident in additional positions, drawing, holstering, and the responsibilities of carrying concealed. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.
