NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course - Instructor Led Only

This NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is 8 hours long and includes both classroom and range time. At the successful completion of the class, you will be able to apply for your Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL). This course is intended for all individuals regardless of shooting experience. This is an instructor-led course where you will learn about gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol maintenance, marksmanship, shooting range safety, and Maryland laws. If you own a handgun, please bring it with you to class along with eye protection, ear protection, and 150 rounds of ammunition. Please leave your ammunition in your car.
