Learn the basic of shooting shotguns at moving targets. In this 10-hour course you will learn the fundamentals of shotgun shooting in addition to the parts and operation of a shotgun, the components of a shotshell, shotgun malfunctions, range rules and safe handling of a shotgun. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rule brochure, and the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet. Successful completion of the Shotgun Shooting Student Examination is required to receive the course certification. All books and materials are included. Students need to bring a Shotgun, 50 rounds ammunition, eye and ear protection and lunch. Deposit is non-refundable but transferrable to another class is possible.
