NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course

This Instructor led beginning course with no prerequisite is designed to provide students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safe rifle shooting. Students learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals and shooting from the bench rest, standing, prone, sitting, and kneeling positions, range rules, cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules card, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate. Rimfire rifles and .22LR ammunition provided. Includes range fee. Non-refundable deposit due within 5 days of registration. Email follows with additional details and payment info.
