NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course - Instructor Led Only

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a pistol in target shooting. This course includes classroom and range time, learning to shoot pistols. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shootings from the bench rest and standing positions, cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the basic Pistol Shooting Handbook, NRA Gun Safety rules brochure, and NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet. Students will take the Basic Pistol Shooting Examination and receive a course completion certificate. Students are encouraged to bring their own firearm to this class, or they can rent one of ours. This course meets the Virginia Concealed Carry Permit requirements. ** US FEDERAL LAW REQUIRES YOU TO BE A US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT TO ATTEND THIS COUSE **
