The seminar includes classroom instruction on a variety of crime prevention strategies, from criminal psychology to automobile crimes to cyber crime. This is not a firearms instruction course and does not include instruction in physical combat or self-defense. It rather teaches about common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of and teaches a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive, and easy to follow. This NRA course focuses on proactive courses of action, rather than reactive. Criminals prefer easy targets. By making yourself more difficult to prey upon, you lessen your risk of criminal attack. That means having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. "FBI statistics say 3 out 4 women (75%) will be a victim of a violent crime at some point in their life". Don't be a statistic. Refuse To Be A Victim! *(Interested in becoming a Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor? Sign up for the Instructor Development Workshop that immediately follows.)*
