This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning, etc. Live fire portion of this course will be held on the Kahr Arms 600 Meter range. A catered lunch is included, and students will be provided safety gear, and limited free use of rifles and ammunition. Veterans, Law Enforcement and First Responders receive a discounted class fee of $125.
