** Course fee includes classroom fees; All materials will be provided upon arrival to class. The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become a NRA RSO, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. Course is taught by 2 NRA Training Counselors and is conducted in a classroom (there is no live fire during this course). RSO Candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Procedures (SOPs); range inspections/ range rules/ range briefings/ emergency procedures/ and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Note: This certification is required for registered Boy Scout Leaders to serve as a Range Safety Officer at a Boy Scout (Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun) Range Per the NRA guidelines, we need a min. of 4 studen
