The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course consisting of instruction and a hands-on practical portion at the range under the guidance and supervision of an NRA Certified Instructor. This course is eight hours of instruction in the Basic of Rifle Shooting NRA book, exam and hands on shooting. Some of the topics in the course include: rifle safety, parts, operation, ammunition, fundamentals of rifle shooting, cleaning, storage, and training opportunities. Course Goal: To teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely. To qualify for the class you need to be 21 years or older.
