COURSE PREREQUISITE: Candidate must have successfully completed the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Instructor-Led Training (ILT) course released April 4, 2017, or the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course format prior to May 2016. The NRA BoPS - Blended course format does not fulfill the course prerequisite (NOTE: A copy of your course certificate will provide that proof.). Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is a prerequisite. Prior to attending the pistol instructor course, candidates must complete a pre-course questionnaire and schedule a time to demonstrate their pistol handling background in pre-course pistol handling exercises and a qualification. This includes the Basic Instructor Training course and the Pistol Instructor Course. A previous BIT course taken >2 years from the course start date; you will have to attend the BIT session. The course times are Saturday's session 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sunday's session 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - SIX SEATS OPEN -
