NRA Instructor Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course

Pre-requisite: Must be a current Certified Pistol Instructor (or Advanced Certified Pistol Instructor) as a pre-requisite for certification as an NRA Personal Protection In the Home instructor. This certification is not available to Apprentice or Assistant Pistol Instructors, and the Law Enforcement Division Handgun Instructor is not a substitute.

Defensive Pistol 1 - All Instructor candidates for NRA Instructor Personal Protection In The Home Course must be NRA certified pistol and have also taken the NRA Personal Protection in the Home prerequisite course. The candidate’s BIT training must be current (within the last two (2) years). If you need to refresh your BIT training, let me know and we will set something up.
